I'm looking for team members in order to start a studio. After answering the questions (at the link below) (for either artist or programmer [not both]), I will connect with you through Pumble* and ask you a few more questions to see if you are ready to begin. Thank you for your time.

*a business chat alternative

is it paid position?

The work for the game jam is an unpaid position. It is a trial/test run.

(I will not continue in the game jam due to time.)

Artist Questions:

  1.  How would you describe your art style? (&)
    1.  How flexible(able to change) are you?
    2.  Can you transition from and to different art styles? (Are you limited to one art style?)
  2.  Have you done artwork for games before?
  3.  Have you done(or can you do) UI illustrations? (buttons, sliders, logos, etc.)
  4.   Are you a Team Player? (If so...)
    1.  Give a concrete past example of it.
  5.  Can you: (a, b, or both)
    1.  follow directions and specifications
    2. improvise and innovate

Positives(but not requirements) include:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • art portfolio (of 5-10+ best work[co-op or original])

Requirements include:

  • never-give up attitude
  • 15+ years of age
  • Professional/Business speech (no cursing, profanity, loose references in private or business conversations)
  • will to listen to what others have to say

Programmer Questions:

  1.  Have you done any dialogue-based games (or quiz games) in Godot? (If so...)
    1.  Give a concrete example of it.
    2.  (this is a short notice: you will not have to worry about (much) writing dialogue. If you do like writing dialogue then feel free to tell me in the private conversation.)
  2.  Are you an efficient and timely Godot programmer?
    1.  What is your proficiency level?
    2.  How long has your experience been in Godot?
  3.  Can you build a UI layout(designed by the artist)?
  4.   Are you a Team Player? (If so...)
    1.  Give a concrete past example of it.
  5.  Can you: (a, b, or both)
    1.  follow directions and specifications
    2.  improvise and innovate

Positives(but not requirements) include:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • game portfolio (of 2-4+ best work [co-op or original])
  • work with dialogue/quiz based games

Requirements include:

  • never-give up attitude
  • 15+ years of age
  • Professional/Business speech (no cursing, profanity, loose references in private or business conversations)
  • listen to what others have to say

I don't mean to be discouraging, but your requirements are completely unrealistic for a hobby project. You might want to lower your expectations and share some of your own work to incentivize people.

Got it. Thanks for the feedback!

good concept is to make and show in post rather than get bored of previous abandonware (unfinished videogames even in c#)

Right, always good to give a (mostly) finished example of your work. Thank you.
