Hello there! I'm Talha. I'm a pixelartist. I thought of the cyber punk theme. I did what came to my mind. However, since I was not sure whether it would work or not, I avoided putting too much effort into it. But they don't get the attention I expect. Where do you think I am doing wrong? What can I do to sell my assets? I'm trying to be creative, but being creative isn't that functional. How do you think my new package turned out? and besides that i need your advice. thanks <3

Good pixel art! Your blue charaqcter looks like MEgaMan!  Some techno soldier in retro style. ABout attention - it is a new work, to get some attentiion. It is SOCIAL MEDIA. If you need attention you need get hard into social media, and it is a standalone work, actually!

Thank you  DimaLink. <3

what is your advice ? What do you think I should do on social media?

Check other artists. They just run their accounts in social media. Chatsa with other, and promote their own works their. Making a community process. This is a real job.

So, be active , chat with ppl, show your works.

So, select main social media like twitter, itchio gamejolt, some pixel art platforms and be active there. This is depends on social skills, it can be a long road.

Check their social media. And do the same things, but your own way.

Your main goal is to tell everybody that you are artist and doing arts for games.

Make a pinned post with description who are you and what are you doing.

And be active, on Twitter for example. This means chat with other ppl like you, artsits, game dev, gamers.

Well, i cannot tell you the instructions like a programming code woth certain logic what to do. Well, i cannot tell it even for myself. But this is main idea!

You may want to consider the utility in which people are going to buy assets from you. What kind of games are the people going to make with your art? Are you making it easy for them to apply it to their game?

It looks like you have the making of a top-down type game, but what are they doing besides that? Are there enemies that the need to fight? Does the player need more actions? What about the environment? You only really have one street / building designed, and the player only can walk right now. I think if you fill out your asset packs with more content that can be applied to a game, you will receive more interest (And you can charge a bit more also). Perhaps look at some game jams on Itch and see what kind of games people are making- these tend to be smaller games and are perfect for asset packs like this.

When you design assets, it's almost like you are also building a game, just without the code- so you have to think about the elements that go into the full game, not just a small piece.

Hope that helps a bit.

Your assets looks very good to me, but selling is a tough issue.
