Got it to run on Steam Deck; if anyone is curious.
Go to Desktop Mode (under Power), open your web browser of choice, download & unzip anywhere, open Steam in Desktop Mode, add non-steam game, select Tailbound.exe, reboot into Gaming Mode, go to Library, Non-Steam games, enable Proton support in "Options>Properties>Compatability" (Experimental & Proton 7.0-3 work fine), launch game.If you have the deluxe edition you can use the banner & icons in Steam too
(This means yes; it should work on all Linux distros that support Proton)
