Ever play those old RPGs and wonder why NPCs let the hero get away with barging into their house and looting their chests? Why do they always smash perfectly good pots when they could just reach inside? Will the NPCs ever decide they've had enough of this? That's what this game explores.
Hero is a typical overpowered hero, especially his ego stat. Now he is finally getting to fight the doomsday dragon and become the legend he deserves to be -- as soon as he grabs some inventory from his neighbors. However, this time they decide they've had enough of Hero "robbing" them and Hero's only hope of being acquitted is to convince them they are in an RPG game.
This is an RPG parody I have worked on and off for 3 years and finally finished for the Going For Old Jam. At 15-20 minutes and two endings, it is my first "longer" game and was made in Wolf RPG Editor, a free alternative to RPG Maker.
