Hey there,
I made a tool some days back to help you make a walking simulator with more systems than just walking.
It is easy to and works in the Unreal Engine 4.
I love the Engine and I wanted to make a walking simulator in the beginning but I didn't know Blueprints, ue4's visual scripting langue back then. I needed some time to figure everything out and I just wanted to help you. Just look around a bit on the side itself and see if it sounds interesting to you. Documentation and code comments are of course included. Its also pretty cheap for such a tool. It saves you some time to actually make the walking simulator you want to make.
Features include:
- Grabbing
- Holding
- Inspecting
- Return
- Interacting with
- Opening doors/drawers/cupboard
- Reading
PS. #FPEkit is a tool to help you with game development so I posted it in here, if you think this is inappropriate just let me know. I am also surprisingly #notatGDC
