I installed a game by the launcher, but it doesn't work (I tried different versions). I want to know how can I run games without that launcher, only to run it after download it by the browser.

Is to use Wine to emulate windows the only way? 

If the game only has a Windows version, then yes. But the Itch app should know about Wine.
