cant get out of skill menu

cant get out of the skill menu when i hit back it wont let me leave

hello, do you remember the specific place you were in previously before the skill menu (on a map, in the shrine, etc.)? I did a quick look and it seems to work on my end - there should be a "Back" option for you to access, is that missing from your submenu? If you have a screenshot, please feel free to post it here!

i was in the western map and i clicked z and it took me to it but i couldn't click back it would bring me right back to the skill menu

do you see a "Back" option in one of the submenus while you're in the skills menu page? Z isn't usually the button to go back, esc can cancel the menu and bring you back to where you were before.

when i press esc it still dosent let me leave,i do see it but when i click it it dosent work

are you using a Windows or MacOSX version of the game, or are you playing on the itch.io browser?

just confirming again - this is in one of the maps where where there aren't much quests yet, right? If so, I added a few things that should help fix the problem, let me know if it's still persistent!
