Release date in future but files already downloadable

Hello,

I’m releasing my first game (yay!) in a couple weeks to get the time to iron the final kinks, but I’ve noticed that unless I restrict downloads, the files are already downloadable. Is this normal? Release date is correctly set up and showing in the "More informations" bit.

It may be because I set the game type to HTML5 in order to provide a web demo?

Thanks for reading!

If I remember correctly, the Release date information is only to provide metadata for your game, and does not control if your game is downloadable or not, so it’s not possible to “plan a release” for the future.

I’d suggest to restrict downloads until your game is ready to be available to the public.

Hope that helps

Oh! Where did I get the idea that it restricted downloads? 😅 Sorry for this silly question then. Anyway, thank you very much!
