so, the navigator is nice in the first or at most second try, but after trying for the fift time, hearing about the fabricator and stuff is annoying. gives us an option to disable hima t will.

secondly if you started a miners production and press e nontheless it wastes 2 energy and resets the prodction progress. so 2 energy wasted for nothing :-/

On another note was this inspired by kingdom?
since the cocnept is quite similar :-)

Oh and the ocassional "array out of bounds" error is kind of annoying too, since it crashes the game and there is no save system apparetly :-(

After finalling making past the second night and into the third night I can say:
upgrades are overrated. the game tells you to do upgrades but having more turrets jsut matters more as a turret can still only kill 1 enemy at a time (if it can one shot it, assuming).

I jsut had this setting:
left side: 2 level 2 towers
right side: 2 level 2 towers and further right 1 level 2+1 level 1 tower.

the enemystill made it inside, dtroying everything except the inner most towers.

sure, having them on level 2 by night 3 is important since in night 3 anything beneath cant one shot anymore.
but having like many turrets one after another is more important.

upgrades only seem to increase the shot damage, not how frequent a tower can shoot or anything else.

Also something that disappoints me:
Since the beginning it was my goal to make a clear path to the right hand side mine, to put turrets right behind it.
Cause you know during the night, the mining bots mve only inside the area between the left and right side turrets.

so me thinking: if the right most turrets were past the diamond mine, maybe the bots would even drill at night as long as the mine was "secured" by turrets on the other side.
Nope, they still stay close to the fabricator and dont do shiet.

so any try in expansion is kind of pointless and increasing the defense around the fabricator seems to be the main goal for the first few nights at least.

and if anyone is wondering:
after having lost everything excpet 2 turrets and therefor basically having lost anyways, I went as far left as i could.
Sadly no spawn gate or anything, jsut after a while the trees and background and stuff stopped, only the water and the ground tiles still going.

so yeah, not much to find there yet. :-)

will keep grinding but given that it took me some min maxing and like 8 tries to finally make it past night 2, the game might still need some tweeking here and there :-)

EXTREMELY helpful, thank you!

I can add them being able to mine at night. Shouldn't be an issue. This is now on the to-do list!

I ran into the double-paying for the miner yesterday. I just fixed it with the newest patch.

The game was heavily inspired by Kingdom, yes! 8D
One of my top 5 games of all time, truth be told.

I ran into some of the "out of bounds" errors too. I think I fixed them for now. Pesky bugs! :V

The turrets I may rework. Or rather... the issue is that they actually do fire faster with each upgrade. But the max level (if I recall in that version), is 20, so you barely feel the difference. There is one, but it's small. Might just make it a flat, like, 10 to make it equal to a level 5 change. That way you feel the difference much more.

As for going toooo out into the forest, I need to put a wall there to keep players from going there. Since the game is in an extremely early stage, I haven't added things like that yet. But don't worry! Lore and other mechanics will be placed there eventually.

I agree. I love kingdom too, I jsut suck at it :-)

never made it past the second or third level since I never managed to build up buildings and armies fast enough to match the ever stronger enemy hordes, let alone manage to destroy the portals :-)

Your game is cool, otherwise I wouldnt retry it so often :-)

That means a lot! Thanks!
