After downloading both the 32bit and 64bit versions, as well as two additional softwares (e.g., DirectX), all in response to various error messages, we hit a wall with the "CreateProcess() returned 2" error message.  Please advise as to how to fix it.  If it is not fixable, please refund our $8.99.  This is an extremely difficult game to run.

Sorry you're having problems.

Unfortunately these errors often aren't the sort of things I as the developer can fix in the game itself, it relies on things being on your PC.
With this specific one what I can see by googling suggests that your antivirus software could be causing the issue, Link 2.

It seems like people also get this error if they don't extract the game files before trying to play, have you done that?

Also could I ask what your PC specs are?
