Many years ago I was making this game in Unity for android and ended up moving country and long story short my computer ended up taking a one way trip to Edinburgh and I never saw it again. The only copy of the game I had was what was installed on my phone.
So now that most of my work is complete on Dungeons of Mysteria I decided to eventually finish Balloony.

I managed to strip a lot of the graphics from the android version and wrote some new code for it(This time I'm making it in Blitz as I did not enjoy Unity)

The controls are what makes this game interesting. Click anywhere on the screen and Balloony will point in that direction, click on Balloony himself and he will fly off in whatever direction he is pointing and then bounce off of things and drift everywhere.

Avoid the traps, don't get popped and get to the end of the level.
I designed it to play a lot like Bubble Ghost, an old favourite of mine.
Anyway a video shows gameplay better than pictures so here is the first level.

So I have not posted much because this is not a game with lots to talk about. screens and screens of painful traps for people to overcome but I have started the final level so theres not to much more to make...
I have decided to hold off of publishing the Itch page until I am ready to release but that should not be much longer :)

So I'm working on the final screen. the only boss battle in the entire game. After that there is still a few things to sort out like the save function, start screen, end scene, game over screen and a few other misc things but the game will be playable from start to finish.
