Rising Dusk Illustrations

I thought I'd share some of the art from Rising Dusk. I've been having a lot of fun creating these characters and doing these illustrations.

The first is the main Key Art I've been using for promotion.

I started with a different version of this with each character on its own layer so I could rearrange them. But I was finding that was slowing me down so I started again and I'm much happier with how this turned out.

Next is my new favorite: Zashiki Warashi. She's kind of an alternate, darker version of the main character Tamako.

Zashiki Warashi

Finally there's the Azuki Arai. In the original Japanese tale this creature's form varies from a child to and old man, or woman, so I tried to make him child-like, yet still an old-man.

Next time I'll share some of the pixel art from the game. In the meantime please check out the Kickstarter.

This looks great, if you're planning on getting a new demo build up I'd be bump you to the top of the homepage.

Ok, let me get on to that.

New Demo is up!

And relevant Devlog:

Cool, thanks. I put it up.

Another new animation... this is Mr. Tesso. He sells rare but cursed items.
