I just brought this software just today, and it's an amazing tool too, considering its simplicity and lightweight meeting purpose. When i run on specific folders i dont see following features, how can i get them working, please elp

1. Folder starting with original Jav code like 'smdu-225'

2. when I add this folder to or Plex I do get thumbnails, but actress names or other general tags are not available for me to sort. its a pain in ass if i cant sort them like this, how can i do that?

Hi there,

Thanks for the kind message. Unfortunately I can't really help you unless I get more infomation from you. If you follow the community guildlines on how to request assistance, that will walk you though all the information you need to provide.

However, based on a cursory check I can see that SMDU-225 does not yet exist at the scraping source so an entry would not not be created for it. I am currently working to add fallback scraping sources to cover these smaller studios (as we speak), but that will take a bit of time since I'm working on multiple features simultaniously.

Yes, i put that code as example, i need to format the JAV folders similarly with the code beginning

Version i use: jav-it_v1.5.4_windows

OS: Windows 10

Commandline is same as :   jav-it.exe catalog -d <your_video_path> and it works

out put folder name ex : A Middle~Aged Man's Forbidden, Filthy Molestation An Older Ex~Con, A Father~in~Law and Daughter, a Teacher and Student (HTMS00061 - FA Pro - Nozomi Hatzuki, Tsumugi Serizawa, Cocoa Aisu)

Those above things works fine, but how can i formart the folder title like: HTMS-061  A Middle~Aged Man's Forbidden, Filthy Molestation An Older Ex~Con, A Father~in~Law and Daughter, a Teacher and Student

Now when i import this same code into plex the video page, is like shown in the picture1 and there are no additional informations.

but in folder everything seems to be there like images, but tags of actress name, etc are not shown in the plex

oh i see there is no .nfo file generated

Hi again. Thanks for the additional information.  I can see that you have "Hide file extensions for known file types" set on Windows, so that's why you don't see any *.nfo file extensions, though your NFO file does exist (It's the item with the small computer icon). I tried running this on my end and the NFO file is generated as expected. Bare in mind, this NFO file follows the KODI standard, so if your using Plex, you will need to properly import it. I'm not sure if there is a native way to do it, or if you need a simple plugin to grab that information, but I'm sure there are people who have done this before.

ok i will try that but what about the folder naming  i want format the folder title like: HTMS-061  A Middle~Aged Man's Forbidden, Filthy Molestation An Older Ex~Con, A Father~in~Law and Daughter, a Teacher and Student

There is currently no way to automatically put a DVD code in front of your title name. However, you can manually rename folders and run the rename command to update all the NFO files with that information. Or additionally, you can generate a bulk-rename file and modify your folder names that way.
