Programming, Procedural Generation and History

Greetings. Sorry for any mistakes. My first language is Russian.

I am starting to work on the next part of our project, a turn-based strategy with procedural map generation and this time I want to share some thoughts I get while programming. I think many developers, especially from English-speaking countries might appreciate a somewhat different perspective.

Most of my experience comes from programming in the US. But my inspiration comes from Soviet books, basically unknown outside of Russia.  I like to think that I am reasonably proficient in English, and I want to share some ideas and techniques I learned with other indie developers, through a devlog.

If you are interested in procedural generation, artificial intelligence, strategy games, or just some programming history, let me now in the comments. The image is from my recent project, it shows how the map is generated. I want to make my first devlog a detailed explanation of its workings, with code examples.

This sounds like a cool topic! I've just bookmarked this.

Also, I love your art style.
