Not exactly sure what you mean, but I assume your trying to run a Command Line program in Windows by double clicking it and it just opens and closes right away? If so, you need to run this via a Command Line window. (^_^);
Have a look at this thread: https://itch.io/t/1376173/what-am-i-doing-wrong. I think it might have all the information your looking for, as someone else had similar issues and someone chimed in to help him out. Essentially he wrote a short tutorial on how to use the command line.
