Hi
First off, great tool. totally love the idea behind it and the work you been putting in. Btw, what's your Patreon? I wanna give some more support, but I clicked on a link somewhere in one of the topics and it says the patreon has been removed?
Just wondering, in your experience (and other users too), are the downloads rather slow?
I have a decent connection capable of downloading at 10 megs per sec, but it took rather long to download a movie file relative to my usual standards. It took about 45 mins for a non-HD movie, so I imagine it'd take even longer for a HD movie.
The command prompt doesn't show the download speed, or perhaps r18 is deliberately throttling speeds, or perhaps it's the built-in DRM decrypting process, but any insight or tips you can share to make downloads faster would be great. I want to make the most of my expensive Prime membership, but hopefully don't need years to download lots of content :P
I know I can't do multiple downloads lest I be soft banned, so that's out of the question as well.
I'm an absolute noob went it comes to computer stuff, so here are some other notes and experiences that people may find useful if they're stuck.
1) In the guides, it mentions how to save cookies, but to dumb it down a little more, in my first experiences when I tried to save the cookie the default name is some long hex code like "fdsgy8gf6fg28bhibs00dhgfue". I was confused and attempted to find a cookie specifically called "r18.com_cookies.txt" as per your instructions. No where to be found. So, I gave up and simply tried renaming it to "r18.com_cookies.txt". The commands now work. Lesson learned, it's okay to rename the cookie file :-)
2) When I initially tried to run the Command Prompt download strings, it said something like "cannot access cookie file". I'm pretty sure I typed it correctly and I'm pretty sure I saved it to the jav-it folder and I'm pretty sure I'm Lord and Master of my own PC with complete access. Nevertheless, after right-clicking on the Cmd app to Run-as-Administrator, the download now works. Lesson learned, you aren't Admin until you say so :-)
