NWS is finally on Steam and if you have it on itch.io, you can get a Steam key to download the latest update!

Here is what you have to do:

1) go to the Download section on itch.io

2) Get the Steam key (you may need to log in with your Steam account)

3) Go to Steam, open the "Games" menu (top bar) -> "Activate a product on steam..." -> enter the key

4) Download NWS and use it!

To everyone who has been waiting to be able to get the latest update, please accept my apologies, I wish I could do it faster.

Just figured it out. It looks like people who received a free itch.io key do not automatically get a steam key. I will go through the list of people and make sure they all get their steam keys. But this issue is solved now.

hi i also don't see the steam key on the download page.

Hi Nate,

You should be able to see it. Please make sure you are logged in and go to the download page. There you should see a button to get the Steam Key.

Let me know if it doesn't work again

Hi I'm also having some issues with the Steam key. I'm logged into itch.io (via the client) and went to Downloads but no option for a Steam key shows up. I'm slmalloy@gmail.com. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The should be a key for you. Are you sure you loggen in using the right account? I see your name but with a smalloy@u***d.edu email, not slmalloy@gmail.com. Please try again with the mentioned mail address and let me know how it goes.

Hey Ivan, I got this game a couple of years back and just tried installing it, but I don't see any Steam key. Thanks in advance for any help. My email is either arthurdent30000@gmail.com or kinneticslammer@gmail.com (I don't remember what my itch.io one from when I got it was)

Hey Ivan,

Just realized I had gotten it from when it was free and it was still my library. The concept is insane. I only played it when it was free, but it was great. Anyways, have a good time developing and stay safe.

Hi, Ivan, I've noticed that I misspelled my email address when purchasing the game. This was not a problem back then, as I just downloaded it directly, though now I cannot access my Steam key even after making an account for the misspelled address. Any advice?
