Parasomnia

Today Parasomnia comes to itch.io as a full game the demo is still free and can be given on demand it may even get its own page! The full game will be $7 USD and have the full story exposed and all levels opened! 

Parasomnias are a category of sleep disorders that involve abnormal movements, behaviors, emotions, perceptions, and dreams that occur while falling asleep, sleeping, between sleep stages, or during arousal from sleep.

Set in a large photo-realistic home Parasomnia takes the players reality and warps it. The atmosphere plays a large part in the horror with out relying on jump scares to give the player a dreadful feeling that something terrible is happening from the start. 

This game pulls from some of the most terrifying games to come out so far inspired by P.T., Visage, Allison Road, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil 7, in short, don't trust what you see.

Parasomnia is still in early development so many more features will be added in the future.

Every aspect of this game is designed to push the player to feel uncomfortable there is no tutorial for night terrors in real life, so there is not one here. Even the loading screens are designed to reflect the thoughts people have before falling asleep.
