Issue with titles

Hello, I just bought the program, it is probably my fault, but it seems do not work properly:

the folder and files do not get renamed with the titles and the other data, so if I have a file named WAA059 instead of a folder named "Please Allow Me To My Rent By Using My Young, Adolescent Cunt (Wanz - WAAA-059, Ichika Nagano)" I have only a "WAAA059" folder. And the files are renamed just with the codes. Eg. the file "hone-260.mp4" got renamed "H_086HONE00260.mp4".

That's how my catalog actually appear:

Am I missing something?

Hi there!

Thanks for supporting the project! I tried out the title "WAA059.mp4" as a test and it seems to catalog just fine. Unfortunately because you didn't post any additional details of what command line options you used, or what the output looks like, I can't really be sure about what is going on on your end. If you can give me more details, I'd be happy to try and help you!

Thanks for the reply! the command line is the one described in the README of the program,  jav-it.exe catalog -d <your_video_path>. In my case I have tested the folder "jav-it.exe catalog -d C:\Users\Admin\Documents\torrente\verona".

Hrm... I don't outwardly see any issues with what your doing. Nor, did you post the actual terminal output that Jav-It produces. Could you post the exact output that Jav-It generates when you run against that folder? In addition, can you try moving your videos to a folder that is shorter like "c:\temp\" and giving it another shot? Just trying to narrow things down because I can't reproduce what your seeing. (^_^);

Yeah I didn't post it initially as I didn't see anything wrong/suspect in it. I have followed your suggestion and moved the titles in C:Jav. Using the command jav-it.exe catalog -d C:\Jav now it works perfecty!

I have tried with other folders and it works as well.

My feedback for your program so far is highly positive! I just hope you can find a solution for the issue we are discussing in another topic, i.e. the dowload of movies consisting of 2 or more parts from R18.com.  If you need to access to R18 Prime for a few hours or even for a couple of days to make some tests let me know,  I can lend you my account.  TY for your support

Hi again,

I'm glad it's working for you now! Windows is kind of a pain to work with since it has short folder name restrictions, locking files, and other crippling effects you won't see on Linux/MacOS. When in doubt, I always move files to a shallow directory where I know no other apps are trying to access files. (^_^);

As for additional support, I'll have a look at your other posts and see what I can do!

Cheers,

Developer

I'll add this here as well (in case you don't get it), but if you can shoot me your email address, I'd be happy to contact you privately to see if I can help you. Just let me know!
