I've created a simple weapons asset but I'm looking to improve on the quality of the artwork and I was hoping someone could tell me how they feel it could be improved. I also plan on growing it further so additional suggestions for weapons would be nice.

Hi Powered By Decaf!

Loved your weapons!!! do notice that the weapons in the downloaded file has some kind of white outline. In any case, your designs are great! I would suggest adding some more advanced weapons like guns or cannons, or if you wish to continue with the medieval theme - maybe add some bows and crossbows.

Hope this review was helpful:)

Thanks so much for letting me know! I actually thought I'd uploaded the one with no outline. Anywho, I've now uploaded one with and one without an outline. I'll keep on adding, expanding and organizing this collection. Thanks for your feedback!

They look great. I can't wait to see more. :)

Wow, they look cool! I can use them in a future project of mine! I don't think you need to update the current ones as they are already great enough for any game! :) You can add new ones, though! :)

I think your shading is quite well done, especially since the canvas is so small. An easy way to expand the collection, though, would be to swap out themed handles onto each type of weapon. . . you've put in the work to make unique ones, might as well make them modular (and to allow devs to make a theme set of weapons from these awesome sprites). Another way to expand it would be to create "magic" overlays for the given weapons (you only have the fire sword in the upper right corner at the moment, but there could be poison (green), ice (blue), electric (yellow), etc on every weapon). Additionally, you could create a set of different arrows. . . the tails or heads could be different, or dripping with something. Finally, it would help to have a solo arrow in the pack since devs would need that as a separate asset when firing the weapon.

All good ideas. I'll put some more thought into modularity and see how it goes. I've always been better at making a finished product than I have making parts (as weird as that sounds).
