tried to do a run appealing to non cosplayers, failed.

i only got about 2700, maybe it would be funny to have a single special customer that was just an average joe, and getting ranks with him would make non cosplayers give tips as you "let the mundanity flow through you"

Trying to do a non-cosplayer run sounds hilarious! However we did design the game with the intent of not catering to many non-cosplayers, so it's understandable that you've got fairly little cash from it. 😜

We did think about making a non-cosplayer one-off character just fun, but didn't end up pursuing the idea, though maybe it'd have been fun for contrast in retrospect. 🤔

heres my idea, john smith, assistant to the chief marketing director of blandco and an avid coffee enthusiast. while normal looking he has quirky quotes like "the blend", "are you feeling it?", or "let the mundanity flow through you". getting enough relationship levels allows non-cosplayers to tip depending on novelty. if you really want to there can be a twist where in fact he is a person cosplaying as a office worker character from a realistic fiction series. he is just suuuper in character about it.

he would of course hold a cup of coffee and take occasional sips from it, and if you wanna be real fancy you can have him hold whatever is on the menu at the time.

i would ask if you had any sketches or concept art for the non cosplayer special guest but free art is always a bad thing to ask for

We didn't get to make any concepts or sketches of non-cosplayers other than some discussion we've had about them.

Thanks very much for coming up with your own character! He sounds very imaginative, though if we had to go with a non-cosplayer character we'd likely still design and implement our own, but it's still fun to discuss characters like this nonetheless. 😄
