Should I upload my game now and add a trailer later, or is it better to hold off until I have a trailer?

Hi! I just published my first game on Itch, and this is my first community post!

https://eyesight-technologies.itch.io/conundrum

The game is complete, but we don't yet have pretty promotional materials or a trailer. (Those will be done by the end of April)

From a marketing standpoint, is it OK that my page is starting out a little dry? Or does the Itch.io algorithm promote games that are most successful in the first few days of release?

In other words, should I delete my game for now, then re-release it once my promotional materials are ready? Or is it fine (or better) to add the promos later? What will make my game most marketable?

Thanks so much!

-Wesley

P.S. I'm also welcome to any page feedback if you have any: https://eyesight-technologies.itch.io/conundrum

Having or lacking a video doesn't influence your ranking in Itch search results. What makes your game attractive to people is another story.
