How do I get started?

This is impressive and exciting. I've wanted to poke in a 'primitive' digital layout for coding, up to and including game-making, to see what I can do. I already added an image from my computer.

Issue however being: I don't know where to start to create a room, or display that image inside it, or attach controls to move it around or make anything happen.

Anyone willing to give a clueless hick a course in TIC-80 coding 101?

Hi, I suggest you follow the video course from Bytes n Bits. It's here: Learn to Code Space Invaders – Bytes N Bits

Pesonnally, this is what led me to start on TIC-80. The guy who makes the course explains very well how to start coding a game, step by step.
