It's possible the things you think they should be getting are out of their search range? You can see what range they use if you watch their script as they work and a big red circle will appear on the ground.

the first thing seems like a bug, but the other 2 could be because the bots or items they were looking for were not in their effective range. you should see a red circle somewhere on the map if they are stuck on a "find nearest" command that circle is what they search in and its centre is the item you made the command with.

I added a go to line. Basicly go to this location, THEN search for nearest log. Bring to storage, and go to the coordinates again.
