Clicking on "verify email" link in email leads me to itch.io homepage with "invalid token" alert

I have had the email resent and the problem persists with the new link as well. Please help.

This can happen if your email software is somehow editing or changing the characters in the link, or the link is expired. If possible try to copy and paste the link and make sure there’s nothing funky going on.
