TL;DR https://kamazs.itch.io/space-wreck

The year is 2095. You are a newbie captain stranded on a derelict space station, looking for fuel. The ship is doomed unless you succeed.

Inspired by classic Western RPGs like Fallout and Arcanum, this is an intentionally short yet deeply non-linear role-playing adventure. Create your own character; then work against your own weaknesses to succeed. You can be a charming diplomat that would go down from a single punch or you can become an antisocial introvert hacker, master of gadgets but unable to hold a conversation.

Or just grab a gun and literally brute force your way through tactical turn-based combat. You can murder anybody, there are no "essential" NPCs but be warned - combat is 100% optional and thus it may be unforgiving and challenging.

And whatever you do in the game, will lead you to one of the four main endings.

This is a demo, however, it is almost like a stand-alone game with its own beginning, branching middle, and distinct multiple endings. It is short by design - like a movie - but you can replay it a couple of times to have a different adventure and story. And last, but not least, if you want to learn more about the world of Space Wreck, if you wonder what and why then there are answers for those who are ready to dig through the lore.

The fate of your ship, crew, and passengers is in your hands, captain! (Or, if you don't care about either, find a way to save at least your own ass!) Good luck!

P.S. If this all sounds somewhat familiar, you are right on the money -there is no Space Wreck Demo in new releases because it is not a new game. In fact, this game was published on itch.io more than two years ago by the same name. However, while the concept and idea are the same, it looks and works very differently now, and by large part based on the feedback from this community as well.

Here's a let's play video from iwan who tried to play through the first iteration of the game almost three years ago:
