Missing "Purchase" button on top of page (purchasable with free HTML5 Demo)

Hi,

we released our game today as a purchasable game with a free HTML5 demo. However, instead of “Buy Now”, as we see it on other game pages, ours says “Support this Game”.

Are we missing some trick here? Do we have a wrong setup?

It’s super weird, that itch.io doesn’t tell page visitors the price up front.

Support Button: Purchase Area is only visible on bottom:

That's right, web games will have a "support this game" button at the top, and a buy button at the bottom only if it also has downloads. This is automatic. Even if it wasn't a web game, it would only show the buy button on top if the description was long enough. If this is inconvenient, maybe having two different game pages would help. And of course any other suggestion is welcome.

Oh, too bad. But thanks for the reply. I really loved the idea of having an HTML5 demo directly on the game page. For now, we will create a second game page.

I would love to have a “normal” downloadable game with a free HTML5 demo.

Having an HTML5 Demo also destroys the Widget, replacing the price with “Play on Itch”
