I forgot to say i ran this on the Linux (beta) terminal on a chromebook.

Are you still having this issue? This sounds like your computer is rejecting our SSL certificate. It could be a configuration issue with your computer as I don’t have any issues loading the page https://broth.itch.ovh/

I think the problem is i tried to launch this on a school computer, so the administrator blocked apps like this. and yes, i am still having problems with this

i followed instructions for the linux beta terminal as well.  I now have an icon that is supposed to run the itch app; when clicked to open, it acts as if it will start and then nothing happens
