My name is Notakin, and I am a pixel artist and animator that is working on a fan project based on an anime franchise and inspired by Alphadream's Mario & Luigi RPG titles called "Sgt. Frog RPG: Simulation Situation". And I'm currently searching for a programmer to help us make the game, since our current programmer can't really do anything right about now since he's too occupied.  All I need for a programmer is to have at least enough experience to program a game to play like a top down platformer RPG. I'm also gonna need you to know that pay is not in my mind right about now, we'll figure out a substitute for that. If you want to help out on the project I'll be happy for you to help. Just join this discord server right about here.  https://discord.gg/bEeAkmYSeF Ciao!

P.S. Here's a few mockups of the game I made.

And a few animations too.

Like what you see? Want to make this game come true? You can help by joining the discord above and DM me (Notakin#1574)

If you're looking for possible inspiration about textlines & translation into german-language, I could probably collaborate with you, if you'd be open for a team-mate , Notakin?

Of course! Anything to localize the game. I do have my own ideas on textboxes. I just need a programmer to make the game's physics work so i can get busy on the story

As far as programming goes, do you need a ui guy, basic movement, data management, or just everything?

i got the overworld guy, so i need a data management guy and a gui guy, plus a battle guy too. I mean i just bought gamemaker amd trying to learn how to code.

I don't use gamemaker-engine, while possibly I could just assist in translating text? Sounds easier than trying to code in additional languages if others daily code with it and being a "pro" already, while I'd understand a language and could offer the translation while they'd be busy with coding the visuals, could sound like a plan?

Hello,i can help u?
