Will you do whatever it takes to win in the grandest race of the century?
It is natural, that only the noblest and intellectually advanced individuals associate themselves with phenomena as grand as themselves: the Balloonomania Race!

Goal of the game

Sabotage other balloonists in a frenzy for the highest score, though beware competitors will share this aim!

Stay airborne! Other competitors will try to eternally sink you, so you'll have to sink them first or avoid them altogether.
Maneuver your way through the wind currents whilst you repair your vessel, dodge or sabotage others!

Style

Step into a 1800 poster that has come to life! For this prototype, we created an artstyle based on all kinds of posters and postcards from the 18th and 19th century.

If you are interested, please feel free to visit the game page at:

Hope you enjoy!

You know… Sometimes when developers post release announcements they include some logo or impressive artwork that look like they have no relation to the game at all.

But your game actually does look like that! Imagine my surprise! :D And it even looks interesting from a gameplay perspective as well.

I wish you and your game the best and hope it gets featured. :)

Glad to know the game description matched your expectations! :D
We also hate it if a game promises us something and it does not deliver it in the end.
Thanks for your wishes and kind reply :3

Just in case you hadn’t noticed[*]: Balloonomania made it into the Fresh Games list. Congratulations! :) That’s already quite a big step.

[*] I don’t know if there’s some sort of notification for developers when that happens.

Really???  Yay!
Thank you for telling us! We didn't know, so maybe there is indeed no notification for stuff like this.
We are quite new to itch, so we are really happy with this news!
Thank you!

You’re very welcome. :)

You could do what I did and follow leafo to stay up to date with that particular kind of development.

I’m not sure how you can see the Featured Games section ordered by date, though. I’m assuming there’s a collection feeding that search as well. As a developer you will probably notice if it happened to one of your games because the numbers just skyrocketed. ;)

It looks interesting - an Unusual style of the game))

Thank you so much!

I wish you success. :)

Thank you :3
