The Itch desktop app selects the wrong file as default

Hi :)

I released my game for Linux, but for some reason the Itch desktop app selects the windows file as default. Why is that?

I mean, it selects Windows as default even though I am using Linux myself. I am using Godot, and I thought this would be a general issue, but it looks correct for other Godot games.

Hi Laminated Lizard,

I’ve tried to install your game from the Itch app, and it shows properly the default option as linux:

Is this working properly on your side with other projects? Are you running the Itch app through some program that emulates windows, like Wine?

Thank you for your reply :) That's really strange. I got Wine installed, but I am using the native Itch app. And it is working fine for other games on Itch ... but not for my projects.

It was actually one of the Godot devs that made me aware, so it's not happening only for me.

Which distribution are you on? I'm using Manjaro.

I tested this on Arch Linux. I haven’t done any specific configuration on the Itch app. It’s quite unusual if it happens only on your project for you but not on others. Is that still the case?
