Support response?

I contacted support via email regarding a refund. The time to request a refund is two days and I requested one the day I bought the game. My purchase is still in my library and support have not responded to either of my emails. Are they busy because of the pandemic or does it usually take this long?

Hi Kagsking,

As far as I know, support seems to be quite busy lately, and takes longer than normal to respond.

Since this is money-related, I’ve let an admin know, just in case.

Heya, I'm having the same issue. I sent an email to support and it says they've recieved it but I've gotten no further response. I bought some map making software and found after waiting for it to download and install (which took about 4 hours, my wifi is trash lol thanks plusnet) i loaded up the game and it insta crashed. I then discovered my laptop is unable to run the software. I've fully uninstalled the software and provided video evidence of me doing so so hopefully I can get my money back but yeah :/

I emailed after about 6 hours from purchase as i sat waiting for it to load up for 2 hours assuming it was just being slow since it was loading everything for the first time

If you are having issues with a specific project you’ve bought, the first best thing you can do is check with the creator of the project. They might not be aware of the problem, and letting them know might help fix the issues for other users having similar issues. Or you might have missed something in the install instructions, which you can now resolve.

You can do that by leaving a comment on the project’s page, or directly contacting the developer, if they’ve provided contact details.

If you are certain that you need a refund, support is the only action to help. I’d wait for a response from them.

If possible in the future, it’s better to make a new thread than replying on old ones, as it will increase your chances of someone looking at it.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the reply!! I think at this point its put such a bad a taste in my mouth I'd just like a refund. How long do you think it'll take for them to respond? (edit: sorry i took so long to reply, i only just got the notification!)

It’s hard to say, tickets are prioritized and some get a response faster than others. I’ve pinged an admin just in case.

thanks!!!

On several occasions, I contacted the itch.Io customer service via email to cancel my purchase and refund the price I paid for the love and sex second base visual novel game, but they did nothing to return it. I ran what I paid for this game on their site, I still couldn't afford to buy the game because I understood that on the pages where you can download this game for free, the cheat menu is not included in this game, but I don't understand if this page where you have to pay for this version of the game why it is not possible for the game developer to put a cheat menu in this version of the game.
