Hi any future volunteers reading this! I'm looking for
- A coder to help me in writing code for my game
- An illustrator for backgrounds
- A composer who can compose thrilling and dramatic music
- And anyone else who wants to join!
It's a game where you are a beetle choosing several class types defending a hive and killing attackers. It is a retro platformer meant to not only induce nostalgia but bring something fresh and new.
I'm very socially awkward but rest assured you'll have a friendly environment with a gamedev who will look out for you and make sure not to overwork you (this is a casual, for fun game). I have worked on projects before and am currently working on the game extensively.
It's going to be free to play, but all volunteers will not only get credit and be able to put this on a portfolio but will get a quarter of profit if I ever decide to make a second game or sell merchandise.
