Quick question about content + Linux feedback

A blast from the past indeed. The question I have is: does this have any sort of endgame at all?

I've played until this spoilery (?) bit here (click to expand) The bit where it's revealed you don't have the book and there's a big attack

But after that the game just seems to stagnate, there is no conclusion or additional content that I know of, is that the case?

Also: I’ve played on Linux and am just taking the opportunity to report that the game works fine on Wine though I did have layout issues with my system’s wine version (5.19 currently). Since I was running it through Lutris, I instead switched to one of their custom wine builds (lutris-fshack-5.7-x86_64) and that seemed to sort it out so, will work, may need some minor fiddling about with this sort of thing

There's a conclusion to the story, but you need to build all the extra living areas and do something really excessive with a certain late game tome.

That's good to hear about Lutris. Hopefully that'll make it into mainline someday.
