I am Calunio, I'm a psychotherapist, I've been making games for a long time, and my main interest as a game designer is making players empathetic with villainous characters' motivations through game mechanics.
I've worked on titles such as the torture simulator Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer, the adventure based on a real life crime Suzy and freedom and the pornworld RPG Polymorphous Perversity.
My latest title is called THERAPIST: Mind Manager. It is a visual novel/life simulator in which you play as a psychotherapist who needs to deal with his patients' psychological issues as well as his own. The game touches topics of mental health and sexual violence throughout.
The reception of the game so far has been weird. Some people have given me very positive feedback, but no one I know of has played the game to the end so far. People like it but drop it. The game is not that long (5-6h), and as a story-oriented game I understand it might be slow paced. So I'm wondering if people who like that sort of game might be willing to give it a shot and see what it feels like going crazy inside the game.
