John and I are already working on HMDL issue 1. To be honest, there was never even going to be an issue 0, until I was invited to 10mg and needed to make "a 10-minute game."
I think of issue 0 as like a spinoff game that came before the game, a short story told in the engine, the universe, of another, larger game.
I enjoyed the process of building such a short game very much though and depending on the response, future issues may explore the same sort of brevity that issue 0 did.
