St. Patrick's Day Sale!
You're very lucky to see this - 77% off all listed individual asset pack items.
And $1.07 for a bundle of everything combined!
WHAT IS IN THE POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW STOCK MEDIA BUNDLE?
This includes all my 3d assets (150+ 3d models) and video VFX elements (120+ video elements) plus over 1500 total seamless texture maps, overlays, and decals.
Also included: Some preorders of all the games I'm working towards release on. The indie games are, generally speaking, in development still and not finished yet. Many are small, some bigger than you might expect.
But the more people buy this bundle the easier it'll get for me to actually complete them all - release after release - like a chain of game dev dominoes - before end of this year.
I know they're all possible to complete by end of 2023. That's clear. The objective of this sale effort is to boost the rate of production and get these projects done sooner.
Including seven creative indie games with varying levels of ambition, from 'minigame' to 'epic' but all creative and aesthetically promising. Some involve handcrafted miniature-art graphics like Vivid Minigolf and Miniature Multiverse. Others have hand drawn, painterly, or similarly analog imagery used, and still others (like Panoramic Worlds HD) just have beautiful and diverse 3d art of a more traditional and conventional sort.
I also have a roster of stock-media plans. Including substantial expansion across existing 3d and texture packs, plus new packs with 3d assets (scifi, fantasy packs of 3d content) and a new VFX-element collection I'm hoping to have in 4k quality for everyone who 'pledges' a $1.07 amount here. The special thing in this sale is not only will the bundle include all the existing projects & preorders but any new collections launched in the next 24 months. Ie. the fantasy/medieval 3d pack, the scifi/space/futuristic pack, and a new VFX video-element pack. The promise here is if you're backing now in early 2022, you're getting, again, for $1.07:
-1600+ EXISTING, seamless PBR texture maps and decals/overlays
-150+ EXISTING 3d objects with associated textures, realistic-looking but also very efficient in geometry and texture terms. Including indoor and outdoor manmade objects plus a ton of different nature objects (plants and outdoor landsape details)
120+ EXISTING video VFX elements including fire, smoke, explosions, sparks, debris bursts, water effects and splashes. Varying quality, a mix of SD and HD and some of up to 60 or 120fps. All against blue or black background for ease of compositing.
PREORDERS OF:
MORE GAME DEV ASSETS PLANNED
-Another 100+ 3d assets in development
-Another 250+ PBR textures in development
-Another 80+ video VFX elements that are in 120fps 4k.
GAMES [PREORDER]
-Panoramic Worlds HD - a virtual explorable set of interdimensional worlds to explore, over a dozen and potentially far more than that if it goes at all well.
-Minigames. Including a racing minigame, a painterly short adventure game, and two short scifi adventure titles... plus a bonus pinball minigame thing.
-Vivid Minigolf, aka 'miniature miniature golf' with over half a dozen courses built with physically assembled O scale miniature-art visuals that are then photographed and augmented seamlessly with digital animated elements and obstacles, some of them rather creative and surprising.
-Miniature Multiverse, a staggeringly ambitious first-person panoramic exploration of numerous visually stunning environs made in the real world with realistic sculpted miniature art graphics. If the idea of a Myst-like game with worlds that look truly tactile and handcrafted appeals to you, this is something you'll want to keep an eye on! And you'll also get the bonus 'Extras' package with a making-of ebook when the game is done.
OTHER MISC. EXTRAS:
-Access to a custom, exclusive online group where you can get the items as downloads as they launch one after another. I'll have updates on a Discord group so anyone who wants to connect through that is welcome to do so. The updates will be about once monthly, not constant and spammy, but just when there's a new thing worth noting. The updates and Discord group will also include a few short PDFs & video clips posted over time relating to the creation of the projects not covered already in the 'Miniature Multiverse Extras' material. That is, insights into the design process underlying Panoramic Worlds, Vivid Minigolf, etc.
-Credit inclusion in the games that you helped finance completion of, which is by default your Itch username (or Etsy username, if you back that way) but can be changed via the Discord group or a comment on Itch post-purchase.
-Your username will appear even, physically engraved in clay, in a monument in the final world of Miniature Multiverse. That's pretty cool.
Okay, I've already prototyped this stuff and the core interactions, but from a sound and graphics POV (and some variants of existing interactions) a lot remains to be done on many of these projects. As in, between all the stock-media stuff I intend to launch in the near future, and the indie games... A lot of work is done and a lot is still to go, plus an estimated total cost of $2200 to get everything launched successfully. I'm sure I can set aside at least $125/month towards this list of projects from here on out. Maybe, on a good month, more. So from now to late 2023, that's all possible for me to cover. But I figure every $100 raised here will shave nearly a month off the total remaining timeframe. And I'd like this all done faster - as early as the end of 2022 especially would be amazing and I think it could work! But doing that would require raising near $1k from the community here and I'm not sure that's feasible.
Still, even if the fundraising goal isn't met, the projects will still happen. They will just take longer, with launches spread out across the next two years instead of the next 9.5 months.
OKAY, BUT I DON'T WANT TO SUPPORT YOU USING THE ITCH PLATFORM?:
I get that, I only have a minimum of feedback in the form of reviews, ratings, follows, comments, collections, etc, here on ITCH despite having expended a TON of time and effort on content already posted here.
That said, I do have 39 positive reviews so far on Etsy, and 410 on eBay. And, as of early March (Mar. 4) at this time none of them are negative.
That's an indication that I'm not flaky and that I am really serious about good service for customers. And as far as Etsy goes, orders placed around the time of this sale [from Mar. 14-17] will typically have 10% of the order totals go toward this campaign. It can't be above 10% as the items are heavily discounted during the sale, and the shipping and materials cost do usually eat up much of the sale values.
My aim at this time is $150 raised through Itch, $750 through Etsy [most of my buyers are buying things through Etsy lately, ignoring the Itch shop]. If that's pulled off this month, great, but I wouldn't expect that to happen.
If we can't hit these totals or even come close, there's going to be another chance (Easter 2022) and then one final chance around July 4th. If the target is finally reached after July, it will still help but getting everything done in 2022 will be a challenge at that point, to say the least.

AND WHAT IF YOU LIKE THIS BUT DON'T HAVE CASH ON HAND?
That's fine, you can always order later on during some future event - often the bundle of everything is under $2 [like in those future sale events] even if it doesn't quite go as low as it is right now.
And any input, feedback, or sharing of this event is super helpful. You might not be buying but still might want to tell someone else about this. Sharing a link. And that is still, in its own right, important.
I'm pretty excited about this!
