I love story driven games, and this one is such a beautiful game... The game mechanics are simple, but you managed to keep the storytelling aspect engaging. Great job!
I'm still relatively new to programming so I wanted to start with simple mechanics. There were a few ideas I couldn't apply in time but I hope one day I'll be able to! 😏

I like the idea of the game, but it does feel a little repetitive with not much going on. In my playthrough, the villagers are not reproducing/the civilization is not growing, is that a bug?

I wish there were more instructions as I couldn't really understand how to play. Maybe a tutorial level would be helpful but I know it's nearly impossible to create that under a week, especially if you have a rather complex game design already.
It looks really nice though. I've added this to my collection and I hope I can play the refined version one day soon :P
This game is so cute! I think adding some feedback, like a sound effect or visual change, when holding and releasing rockets would really enhance the game feel!
Yes. For the first two playthroughs it was planned to let the players fail the game to fit the story we are telling. If we had more time (or better time management), we would definitely let the players have more freedom and more gameplay.
This has so much potential! For me as a player, if I could see the sum of next turn before going to the next age so that I don't have to calculate in my mind, I would have enjoyed more! I'm bad at math! XD
