I love that the sun fairy just casually stands watch helping vampy slay the villagers. What a nice guy. Great proof of concept! Amazing what you were able to piece together on a time crunch.

Very cool little project. Awesome that you managed to finish it in such a short time. Feedback:
1. Make the objects on the ground like the rocks and stumps have the same shader as the player, or introduce some way to see objects behind trees easier as it feels unfair to run into a stump you couldn't see behind tree leaves.
2. There are some performance issues on PC, not sure about mobile. Might have something to do with the level generation?
3. I found myself wanting to speed things up and get a little risky with bumping up my score. A couple of ideas I had while playing to introduce something like this would be to allow the player to swipe down to run faster for a while (or arrow key down on pc). Alternatively, you could enter a "frenzy" mode after collecting a certain number of coins or introduce a new pickup like a hot pepper or something.
I managed to make it to 167 score after playing for a few minutes or so.
A good bit of fun, keep making projects and you'll be making projects as a studio before you know it!
Loved the hand drawn assets and ui elements. I thought the game itself was a bit too difficult for me to get the hang of and I wasn't sure what the different colored tiles represented at first. For example I found myself avoiding the clear tiles for my first 5-10 attempts at level 1 until I realized I could move through them. I enjoyed the dash mechanic though, just hard to control with directional movement for me. Overall, incredible first submission.
Very well polished game! Impressive system designs and it was a fun short experience. I was expecting a more relaxing experience and even though the time was generous to snap a picture for a request I found myself stressed I'd miss a request due to an creature not being around during that time of day.
I appreciated the humor throughout the game, although I would have also liked some true hints towards the location of the sword. I found myself running low on patience and eventually cornered by two skulls. Needless to say, I did not get the sword. I liked the art in the game and the overall tie in to the theme of the jam though!
Nice work! I enjoyed switching between characters once I had a feel for what dwarf could do what. There are some UI challenges at play here and while it is nice to see all of your dwarves hp totals, I kind of wish I just had the health indicator for the dwarf I was currently playing as. Some design solutions to be explored if you plan to work on this cool idea further. Overall great work! I had fun.
Great storytelling. Ominous music fit the game well! Some of the more fun moments from my time with the game was the forest run with the foot trying to smash me and I thought the lumberjack choosing paths puzzle was very clever game design as I could place wood to indicate the correct path. Then I found myself getting stuck at this puzzle and I wasn't sure if that was the intended use of the log placement mechanic. I liked the simple but clean and communicative animations in the game. Good work, thanks for sharing this project!
Great work on the sound and animations. Wall climbing was cool, didn't know I could do that for the longest time. The game felt a little slow and I wished my character was faster. I found three potions and returned back to the beginning only to realize that I must have not collected the right colors or something so I quit. Great work on your first jam though definitely a great game for your first!
