Hi everyone,

My name is Mattia, I'm obviously a gamer, a translator and a writer. I've already translated a game for the GameLoc Academy and attended in the same academy a course in Localization and Translation. I've gained experience with CAT Tools, and especially with translation and localization. In addition I have also a degree in Languages, so I'm graduated in English.

I will briefly explain why it is important to translate a game in my mother tongue, Italian. A lot of people in my country are not familiar with English, people won't buy or play a game if it is not translated even if they are interested, that's why a person like me should come in handy for every developer and every team out there.

Finally, I'm also a writer specialised in horror short stories on my way to publish and illustrated book, I will be delight to help everyone with writing their story (in Italian or in English).

Hi everyone! I’m Mattia, an Italian native speaker and EN > IT video game localizer trained through the GLAC – Game Localization Academy, with a strong foundation in translation, localization, and transcreation. I also have experience using CAT tools like MemoQ.

I'm still new to the field and I'm willing to expand my portfolio working on different kind of games. So yeah, I'm basically open to all kind of genres and different kinds of translations. I think it is essential to translate your work in Italian, mainly because a lot of people tend to skip games which are not translated, and that is a real shame. So if you are willing to expand your audience and reach more people I'm here for you.

I'm also a writer, I'm willing to publish my first novel or a short stories collection. I've been writing for almost 10 years now, and while I did it mainly in Italian I'm quite confident of being able to write also in English. I have a degree in foreign languages and I've read and wrote a lot in English with great results. I can help you with worldbuilding, item descrption, dialogues and also with the main plot/quests.

If you have a project you’d like help with, feel free to contact me on Discord: yasako2 or via mail: mattia.borea96@gmail.com

I'd be extremely delighted to work with you translating and shaping a world together.
