Exactly this. Devil's work indeed.

Itch.io, in your update you state (bold emphasis mine): "We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of content to ensure we can meet the requirements of our payment processors. Pages will remain deindexed as we complete our review. Once this review is complete, we will introduce new compliance measures. For NSFW pages, this will include a new step where creators must confirm that their content is allowable under the policies of the respective payment processors linked to their account."

There should be no issue sharing what, precisely, the payment processor's requirements are, or linking to the payment processor's policy documents (which should be public, right?). At the very least, communicating what they specifically asked be removed in this particular purging would go a long way.

But my suspicion is that you can't, because I doubt the payment processors HAVE clear content guidelines beyond content which is obviously illegal, and typically communicate what is and isn't acceptable in a similar vein to the Oracle of Delphi.

This smacks of, "I am altering the deal. Pray I do not alter it further."

I'm minusing points for "de-feet", unacceptable punnery (not really, I snorted).

Great intro and it's extremely satisfying stomping on the townsfolk with the jump skill. I also feel like the townsfolk have got quite a bit of character for their size. Nicely done!

The interplay between your own actions and that of your opponent makes for an interesting dynamic, and enjoyed trying to work out the different combinations. Had a bit of a laugh when I nuked my opponent's base and they continued to put down tiles.

Would be really cool if there was a secondary aspect to the terraforming that is purely beneficial to you as opposed to being globally beneficial/detrimental (so you get the tug and pull of both wanting them to drive the planet's terraforming in the desired direction but continuously gain advantages that allow you to push your opponent out.).

Nice, the presentation is unique (feels like a series of 2-bit polaroids) and I liked how you handled the castaway's unspoken acceptance. Well done. And it put me onto some of your other games as well, really enjoyed The Mischievous Thievery Of Jessica The Cat.
