Wow! This game is awesome! The colors and the music create a perfectly cozy atmosphere. It's super relaxing. The menu and features all look really good, too. I actually made something similar set in space :) just not quite as fleshed out. Your game already offers very solid gameplay! Amazing job!

Pretty fun! It different to all games I tested so far in this game jam, it has its very own charm.
I liked the Atmosphere and Design. Sounds are good. Theme... sure.
One small point: Its possible to stuck a bit, if you go mit the connector behind a opened wall, but then move the wire, so the previous opener disconnects, the door closes and the wire connector is then stuck inside. I hope it makes sense ^^... But I could escape the situation by dragging it around a bit. And after all there is a reset option...
Really great work on this one!
I tried it again and beat it! I'm just too weak for these 'click, upgrade, repeat' games. ^^ It was a lot of fun. The music is fantastic, though the track is a bit short, it got a little repetitive towards the end, but that doesn't detract from the game at all!
I still encountered that weird behavior (as in the video) in 2/3 of the levels, but by clicking hard enough around the planet, 'Breakthrough' eventually charged up and I could move to the next level. (Btw communication: after a few days rating games, I dont read that much anymore, so maybe it was just me doing it wrong :)...)
I also noticed two small things:
- On one upgrade it says 'Max Level', but the others say 'Level 10 Available' (shouldn't they say Max Level too?). If someone already pointed this out, feel free to ignore! :)
- When you finish the game and press 'Continue', nothing happens. But if you click 'Main Menu', the game actually continues. Even after playing another round, the 'Main Menu' button wouldn't take me back to the menu.
Great job overall! Keep working on it. A game with a very similar vibe just released a day or two ago and it seems to be quite successful right now.
Very fun puzzle game, and great usage of the theme! I encountered a few bugs, but I won't hold that against the game. It's genuinely a great, fun experience. Good job!... this rover/bot is just awesome xD
A quick note on the levels:
- Level 2: Like veryseriosSALMON mentioned, I was completely stuck at first until I realized I could basically connect it through the wall.
- Level 3: If you connect the top part first, it gets pretty hard to get back down because that gravity thing keeps flinging you upwards.
Level 4:I managed to get myself completely stuck here, and it seems impossible to get out :) (see screenshot - unhappy rover/bot :(( ). Maybe I deserved it, though! :D
Pretty fun puzzle game! It takes a little while to figure out, and it actually felt like Level 2 should have been Level 1. I'm sure you have lots of ideas to expand the game, but you managed to develop a fully working game in such a short timeframe! Great job! We do these jams to improve our skills, after all. I would love to see updates later on!
Looks cool, but unfortunately, I didn't manage to play it. There were two lobbies visible, but I couldn't connect to either. Even when I created my own lobby and tried to join with a second instance of the game, nothing happened. :(
You should really upload a YouTube video of the gameplay! The music and the menu are awesome, very atmospheric!
Thank you for your comment. Later I will look, if I manage to build the game for Linux / Mac. I share your trouble in many games, we have QWERTZ. :)
This are in fact ActionKeys, but the player dont have the possibility yet to change them ingame. This was not in balance in work vs value in the game jam.
To be honest, the game feels very basic. However, if this is one of your first projects, it's a perfectly fine starting point! The technical side is very clean: switching weapons, shooting, defeating enemies, and grabbing pickups all work smoothly.
Adding some basic sound effects, like a gunshot and an enemy hurt sound, would have elevated the experience significantly. I totally get it, though; my own game only has music and no SFX either!
Keep making games and expanding your skills!
Sorry, but giving a middle-of-the-road rating without even playing the game is neither fair nor constructive feedback!
I played this on my laptop, and it's currently 30°C here. My laptop didn't even notice the game was running! The CPU sat at 57°C, which is standard idle temperature, and the GPU was at barely 16% usage. Considering GPUs are designed to handle much higher loads and often run close to max capacity, 16% means the GPU was heavily underutilized and completely bored. The game runs perfectly fine.
As a quick tip for the dev: Since I also work with Unreal Engine, I'd recommend capping the framerate at 60 FPS. Otherwise, the engine just tries to push out as many frames as possible, which naturally causes the hardware to rev up.
P.S. I actually forgot to do this in my own jam game as well and got a (constructive!) comment about it! ^^"
I loved it either way, but since people are handing out ratings on a whim here, have 5 stars from me!
I had a really good time with this! The art style and the terrain design are top-notch. The level could have handled a few more assets, but that's no big deal. The game runs absolutely smoothly, too.
Something about the camera controls bothered me a bit, though I can't quite put my finger on it, maybe the fact that you can rotate freely, but can't adjust the pitch (tilt up/down) at all? But I'm the last person who should complain, since in my game you can pitch the camera but not rotate it! :D
Also, adding one more ability... like blocking, rolling, or a spell (everyone like to cast fireballs...) would have been the icing on the cake. Anything beyond just the basic attack would be great. Super work! Keep expanding this, I’d love to play it again later!
Wow, what a fantastic game! The visuals are immediately eye-catching, of course, but I also love the little details, like the light running along the edges of the hexagons, just awesome! You nailed the theme in a really cool way; using cables and color combinations to charge the turrets is super creative! I was getting slightly stressed playing it 😅. The menu looks damn good too, with proper UI elements. Excellent work!
Once I put the connector one the color bars and couldnt pick it up anymore.
Great idea! I generally had fun with the game, but the rope made the controls feel so clunky and stubborn that I had to quit on the third level. I totally know the struggle, though. Back then, I expanded on the GDTV Rocket Boost course and implemented a rope mechanic as well, so I completely understand how much tweaking and trial-and-error it takes to get it right.
If it weren't for the controls, I probably would have played through all the available levels. Great work overall! Fix the physics/controls and keep going!
P.S. I like the direction fixed to the front of the Ship, rather then to the level.
Great game! I had a lot of fun and even ended up playing it a second time. However, I have to admit, I won but I’m still not entirely sure why, even though I read the introduction :)
The snapping to the stars is a good mechanic, but it gets a bit difficult if you have to cross 5 stars that you don't want to target. A solution I can think of: as long as you hold down the A/S keys, snapping is disabled. After releasing A/S, it triggers the snapping function.
The music fits beautifully and it's a very polished overall experience! Great job!
Thank you for the fantastic feedback!
You are completely right about the visual/SFX feedback and the lack of a clear endgame goal. Visual cues and UI indicators are definitely at the top of my post-jam to-do list. Unfortunately, my time management just fell apart toward the end of the jam! :)
Later there will be FPS cap option for sure.
Thanks for playing and for taking the time to write this!
Thank you for the feedback and for pointing that out! I've actually just added it to the known issues list in the description.
The funny thing is, the ships were actually transporting different resources in the background! But after reading your comment, I investigated and realized that the resource text on screen was just a hardcoded placeholder and wasn't connected to the actual code at all... ^^"
I've already fixed it in my local build and will upload the update as soon as the rating period is over. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! There is actually a reason for that: the planets already have a maximum storage capacity implemented in the code, but it isn't displayed anywhere yet and isn't tied to any other mechanics (like supply/demand price changes). So it’s not a bug, but rather a feature that doesn't have a visible purpose yet! :) Thanks for trying it out!
Wow, fantastic game! Truly unique and a very well-rounded experience. The main menu is awesome, and it's so cool how you can rotate the map up and down. The connection system is great too. As for the art style: Seriously strong 2D pixel art! Great job! Might be one of the best I guess?
P.S. Someone like me needs some more prominent feedback for the runes. Well, maybe that would get annoying later when you have a lot of them, but I kept forgetting to use them every few turns because I was just staring at the cool design! :D Maybe if you don't use a rune for like 10 seconds, it could start blinking?
Thanks a lot for the great feedback! Yes, I really want to expand on this after the jam. I’m a huge fan of space and tycoon games, so the ideas are just overflowing right now.
Thanks for the suggestion as well, I love getting input like this. Highlighting the selected planet or planet to select is one of top entries on the to-do list! :)
Awesome! A very polished game, it definitely has that 'just one more run' addiction potential for long roguelike sessions. Great job!
Around the 1:45 mark, absolutely nothing happened anymore no trains at all. The bounty notification popped up, but I was completely alone on the map. :(
Also, a minor UI bug: when the selection screen pops up at the same time as a paint notification, the paint message stays layered on top of the selection until you make your choice. (See Screenshot)
Everything is great, but specially Asthetics and Theme
