Sorry, but giving a middle-of-the-road rating without even playing the game is neither fair nor constructive feedback!
I played this on my laptop, and it's currently 30°C here. My laptop didn't even notice the game was running! The CPU sat at 57°C, which is standard idle temperature, and the GPU was at barely 16% usage. Considering GPUs are designed to handle much higher loads and often run close to max capacity, 16% means the GPU was heavily underutilized and completely bored. The game runs perfectly fine.
As a quick tip for the dev: Since I also work with Unreal Engine, I'd recommend capping the framerate at 60 FPS. Otherwise, the engine just tries to push out as many frames as possible, which naturally causes the hardware to rev up.
P.S. I actually forgot to do this in my own jam game as well and got a (constructive!) comment about it! ^^"
I loved it either way, but since people are handing out ratings on a whim here, have 5 stars from me!
