One of the devs here! Tasks have all been completed and Builds have gone out to our testing group!! Once we go through this next round of bug fixes, the update will be posted!
Stay tuned!
Also, just to say it for the 100th time, please do not use any of the links provided in comments. 10,000% guaranteed they are not from us, nor do they have any "updated" version. You WILL be downloading malware

I thought it was in the last update, but maybe its new from this next one, but if you look at the color of her shield, it should be a different color for the first second or two AND her eyes will be closed/she doesn't move. That is her parrying.
After the window closes she'll start "idling" a bit and the shield color changes. That is just blocking at that point.
One of the devs here, we are not gating the versions between Android and PC at all, ever (to my knowledge)
But this last version only had the forest as it was more a "tech or feedback demo" to get some insight on the changes we made to the game play. If people hated it, we weren't going to waste out time redoing the other levels. As it stands, we hear good things so we are reworking all areas of the game!
Next update coming soon!
Hey, one of the devs here! I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to write this out. I know it probably wasn't easy, especially expecting the pushback you mentioned. Our game is most definitely not for everyone, but you brought up a very valid point!
Admittedly, I haven't actually looked at our disclaimer in quite some time (it's just a text box, so it doesn't get updated), and I think you're right, it doesn't give an accurate description of the game. We don't condone these acts in the real world, obviously, it's a work of fiction, but that doesnt mean our disclaimer gets a pass. I think we can definitely do a better job with it, and I'm going to reach out to the project lead with some suggestions to see if we can reword it. At the very least, removing the "fully consenting" part, since that does seem misleading now that you've brought it up.
Again, thank you for taking the time. Really do appreciate it!
Hey all, one of the devs here! We have finished the update to the beach levels! We have about 5 more tasks yet to finish, and then we should be sending out a build to our testers in our Discord (consider supporting us on Patreon if you'd like to get in on that!) and then we'll do another round of bug fixes (test builds ALWAYS show us we missed things). And once that's done, we'll submit the update!
No ETA or dates, but we're getting close! We appreciate all the love and support from everyone.
And remember, if you're not getting the update right here on itch or on Patreon, you are more than likely downloading malware!
Dev here! That's usually what happens when the system can't find a selected language. Go to the Settings one (you can see the word "settings" in the button there and then find the language drop down, try selecting one and going back to english.
Also if you could tell me what language you may have tried switching to that caused the error? Don't think we've seen that one before.
Hey everyone, DEV for GS here. Just a friendly reminder that we currently only have two locations for "updated" versions of the game. Right here on itch.io and our Patreon page. It shouldn't need to be said but just in case, if you see links to other places, they re more than likely just malware.
We're working on the game literally every single day and will have an update for it out as soon as we can!
Dev here! Exactly as SilentMangle stated. This latest was a test version of some major system overhauls, combat, platforming and level design. We wanted to get feedback to make sure we are moving in the right direction, before committing to something that wouldn't work for our players. We're actively working on updating the Beach and city levels next!
Dev here! Yeah that sounds accurate. The latest demo had some major refactors so you're essentially trying to combine two different versions of save data into one and then utilizing old mechanics with new variablese/data so, that would definitely bug out!
We're working every single day on pushing things forward!
But also, yes more stuff is locked behind our Patreon lol In this latest version we did a large refactor of enemies, systems and levels so we wanted to do a test of just the forest area. This is to get feedback and make sure that we're moving in the right direction, before we go ham on the rest of the project.
Older versions have the beach as well, but city is locked to Patreon.
Game dev usually takes multiple skill sets, its extremely rare that any one single individual possesses all of them AND a lot of expertise in each of them at the same time. Much easier to find individuals with specialized skill and knowledge in their own area of expertise! Art, code, sound etc.
For example, if I made the art for this game, we'd have 0 players, cause I can't draw to save my life lol
"a fuckable Mario game" is a perfect analogy for our game lol!
Can you give us any specifics about what you didn't like? Do you mean the mobile controls or on PC? Mobile controls are our biggest complaint lately so we're discussing it internally.
We don't have a submit button, BUT if you go into the horny water we do have a submit button in that scenario!
Sorry about your saves. We don't do it on purpose but the changes we've made the last few updates have broken saves (your saved position would be either in a wall or in a void for this last update for example)
As for the controls, that's our biggest complain now so we're discussing it heavily to come up with a game plan to fix our mobile controls!
Hey there, Programmer for GS here. Appreciate the post, loving the feedback and more detail is always good!
For the bugs, we've already fixed the camera zoom and that will update in the 0.2.0 update.
For mobile controls, that's probably our biggest complaint right now is the mobile controls suck. If anyone has suggestions on games that are like GS but better on mobile, I'd love to hear them so I can give it a test and see what they're doing different/better. Or any suggestions ( we know the left stick is a big issue for some)
As for your recommendations, they sound great! We have a pretty good idea on everything that will go into the early scenes like Forest, Beach and Mangrove. But we usually keep suggestions in mind for our later Acts.
3-somes are already a thing, we have the code in place right now actually! but the only art we have is with 2 conductors (you should be able to see that in the previous builds!)
And we'll add more as our artists dish them out. Personally, I'd love for us to get a combination of each type of combo but that might be a bit much for the artists at least in the short term!
A down attack and double jump don't seem like bad ideas but we'll have to discuss those internally.
Appreciate the feedback and support!
