LATEST UPDATE 8/29/2026 UTC Saturday morning ~ 5AM a bunch of times: I just started tinkering with this and I love it, It's a labor of love no doubt. Thank you for all who contributed and all your dedication to developing it. There's still some petpeeve flaws in the way it runs from my machine that maybe aren't as bad in other operating systems or PC's.
- UPDATE THIS GLITCH WENT AWAY AND it was KDE Plasma tinkering that needed to happen to end it:. #1 Settings \ Screen has Full Screen or "windows mode". Full Screen is exactly that. FORMER GLITCH There's no way to get out of it without re-adjusting back to "Windows mode", but "windows mode" is not a customizable window size at all. Sometimes (for some glitch for whatever reason) The "windows mode" window can be dragged and minimized to the task bar, but the bottom menu bar is totally off limits to toggle while in "windows mode". All that can be done is roll the dice and not many other adjustments.
- #2 A LOT of custom SETTINGS can't be saved. I can quit the software and have custom dice bags and some other custom expression/dice rolling math formulas saved for another startup session, but there's a lot of other custom settings that go straight back to an unadjustable default such as: TOP DOWN camera disabled (when I prefer it enabled) or "Rotate to READ" (disabled) when I prefer it enabled.
- #3 UPDATE HERE'S the most annoying 2 Petpeeves within the petpetpeeve of failure of reliable SCRIPT RESPONSE: 1st of all I can't just copy and paste text of "an expression" a.k.a. mathematical formula for seqence of dice. Every expression needs to be retyped in. 2nd of all When making a formula expression suchas (d20+d20+d20 etc...) or even unique renamed dice such (d20R+d20orange + every solid color of the rainbow) after around 3 dice the automatic random color dice happens and it's quite often annoying colors. The automatic random colors can be gaudy eyesores for some people. IF there was a way to limit random dice colors and just have a range preferred custom color combinations, that would be awesome
- #4 It's a minor dissappointment to not find much of a feature to have 2 or more d10 dice pre-arranged to actually mean the digits of the result 1d100 (percentile dice) or a 1d000+ or more etc by DEFAULT. Some people like me find the d100 to be a great novelty, but just like an IRL d100 it looks more like a grotesque golf ball than a dice. + there's obviously the Range for each dice face adjustment for a 10 sided dice 1-10, 11-20, etc, Explained on + 22:47+ time stamp on this video: Everything You Need to Know about Sophie's Dice: on a pre-existing d10 custom that's the way to go, but it's not easy to get used to.
- #5 The Dice Menu Bar sequence from Left to Right: I might need to listen carefully and find instructions on this somewhere where it's been explained, but I'm not following how to customize the sequence of each diefrom left to right conveniently. The method that's available seems to be copying, a die which puts that "copy of" the die to the right which in turn the user is then free to redesign that die. It would make more sense if there were a feature to go from #ofSides increasing or decreasing Left to right or toggle, cut, and insert like any other icon in a GUI operating system task bar.
