First off - I am really enjoying this. I am playing using the system provided and so far, it's been all I need :) my PCs are on the way to their second quest and discovering what surprises some hexes have for me is fun (it's only the second game of hexploration that I'm playing so far!). I am shocked I STILL haven't discovered a single dungeon, haha.
However, I am wondering something that I've finally decided to ask:
1) Regarding the two special skills, Forestry and Alchemy. Under what stat of the four do these two fall under? Do I choose whichever feels appropriate in the situation? I know Thieving would be using DEX, or Arcanism using WIL, but I'm really not sure about the two I mentioned.
2) Rations - or hunting/gathering them. What check dictates a good or bad outcome when it comes to getting rations in the wild? Forestry offers advantage, but I'm not sure, again in what way to roll for it.
3) Elixirs - is there a limit to those and whether you succeed at making one, or it's all left to the player to decide? So far I decided that, like rations, one of my PCs has a limit of three elixirs he can carry for now.
I am pretty sure some things aren't fully explained so the player can do whatever, but I've been severely undecided so I thought I'd post these questions. Also wanna say thanks for creating and sharing this game - I've no idea where it'll take me and what story will the world that's slowly generated tell me but I'm eager to find out :)
