A few things for those that are in doubt: if you think it's "just a Ren'Py porn game" you haven't actually played it, and it shows.
- It's big... hours of game play and story with more than just H-scene filler; there is drama, suspense, plot twists, moral dilemmas... the 'AVN' aspect is more than covered. It already has enough body to constitute a 'finished' product on Steam.
- Mini-games and activities like gathering, fishing, time management, and making money-- fetch and step quests are there, but don't dominate your time.
- Leveling up has rewarding perks that offer new and interesting game mechanics-- from boosts to your moneymaking, relationship building tools, activity tools, and more. The game mechanics alone probably included more coding than would ever be necessary of anything that was "just a Ren'Py porn game". This is more than just "choices matter" gaming-- you have to play- and even grind- to advance the story.
- Glitches... I never found one... that's HUGE for most of the games you find here on Itch-- or Steam for that matter. A ton of testing and refining has made this game a smooth-running masterpiece on three different platforms. Not bad for free stuff... bringing me to my last point:
- Price... it's F R E E. Gratis. No money necessary to DL and play. I have games in my Steam library that cost me anywhere from $5-$120... and for free, it out-values fully 40% of them, considering it's big enough to be stand alone. The Christmas special alone is bigger than some Steam games.
All of that said, Komi isn't stretching anything out, or stringing anyone along-- they're trying to pull a second miracle out of their hat, so that we aren't disappointed in chapter one. You don't have to pay anything-- so why are you complaining? Those of us supporting Komi are doing it willingly, making informed choices to continue supporting them because we keep up in the recommended fashion: the Discord. If you think it's a scam, it's a damned poor one, because we that are doing this are kept in the loop-- you only need to look in the proper place. You casual complainers can pick up the finished-- and probably STILL free-- product when it's ready, just like those of us willing to support the project will. The difference? We helped.
That's all. "Suckers"? If you insist... but the game is free, and support is purely voluntary. The best part about being part of the support, is being along for the ride... if you know, you know.
Happy Holidays... and thank you very much, Komi, for everything you've already done, and everything you continue to do.
Cheers!

First- You can't link a collection, because you can't create a link that bypasses your login--- nor would you want to.
Second- to do it correctly, you would have to link your public profile page (find it without logging in), and have your collections set to public-- otherwise all you are linking if a "page not found" image.
I hope this helps.
So... when does the book burning, start, Mein Fuhrer?
That was sarcasm, but if you took offense, you know beyond a doubt it you allow this to start here, the real purge of freedom of speech/expression will be MUCH more inclusive, and won't just be about a little pornography. This garbage was never about women or children and violence... children play ultra-violent war games on major consoles and platforms while their parents look on, saying nothing, because it keeps their children busy not bothering them. Nobody does squat about that. Triple-A title franchises like CoD and MW, GTA, and Saint's Row, Payday... etc... because it's SO much better to see decapitations and dismemberment than it is to see sex? Focus on controlling the means of accessing it, not destroying it... it's been said before: destroying it amounts to nothing more or less than book-burning in nazi Germany. Fact. It WON'T stop there, if it's allowed.
These Collective Shout douchecanoes claim their cause is about violence and abuse against women and children... they don't give a fuck about that.
I can get a AA title videogame on XBox, Playstation, or even Nintendo that portrays war, death, dismemberment, outright murder... all in bloody detail... and nobody goes to HALF this effort to keep it out of the hands of kids. Go to any COD lobby and say I'm wrong-- there's always at least one 'squeaker'. These puritan dumpster-fires are just looking for ANY little thing to make them feel better about themselves, trying to 'make a difference' by attacking a community that was having a grand old time minding it's own fucking business-- and doing no harm. If I don't like something, but it's no threat to me, I move on/scroll on/let it go... "Getting offended by content on the web is like going out of your way to step in dogshit, and having the dysfunctional reaction of trying to beat the dog for it." -- I think it's an apt quote, here. These people need a real fucking hobby.
Arc, I've supported you for a while, now... I don't care if I have to start mailing you my damned sub--- I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT YOU. Don't ever give up, bud... we weathered the Patreonazi fiasco, and we'll weather this, too! If itch doesn't want their slice, I imagine it won't be that hard to find a site that stands up for their moneymakers!
We're here for you!
Dude, I don't care if it comes down to private Paypal... Venmo... cashapp... or even mail in payments, I just don't care... I'll support this game, and the others in my patreon/subscibestar lists however I can. If Itch screws the pooch, we continue on wherever we can-- Discord... X... Hell, I'd subscribe on OF if that's what it takes. FUCK COLLECTIVE SHOUT and their pandering Puritan simps. Freedom of Speech, Expression, and ART matter! If I can play a game on XBox that shows the MC dismembering bad guys, I should be able to see a Nekomata getting railed by an isekai'd hero on my PC, in the privacy of my own home, as long as I'm over the age of 18. I'm 50-- what the fuck business does ANY bank have telling me or ANYONE how to spend their money?
... and if itch doesn't feel like fighting for it, well, I guess there will be another site that will take our money...
/end rant
This is really good so far... I'm not usually too into anthro (ears and tail are great, but strong animal features don't normally catch my eye right)... this is something in between, and I'm there for it (I'm not sure how to explain why I think it's different, it just is-- there is a latent sex appeal to it that is catching my eye, and I can't put my finger on it). The REAL draw is the writing-- elegant and well edited, and VERY descriptive. (don't get me wrong, the characters are absolutely adorable-- the puppy and rabbit especially!) I'm intrigued enough to follow/rate... If it continues to impress, I may pop up on your Patreon... Well done!
If you've never played this, or are thinking about trying: This game will pull you in... You've been warned! Join the Patreon and Discord! You won't regret it! It's WAY more than a simple AVN! Great story, beautiful graphics and animations, characters you'll fall in love with, humor that will gut-punch you to a belly laugh... and that's just the regular aspects of the story... seriously hot h-scenes that are detailed, high quality anime-style gold. Definitely top-tier for the money-- and the Patreon support tiers are not expensive at all, with solid and fair benefits! The early access alone makes it worthwhile. Updates are regular, usually large, seldom buggy, and always seem to get better and better (seriously, NCrow will rework scenes or storyline they aren't happy with, making the game even better, upping replayability, closing plot holes... this game his HIGHLY polished!) and this developer is very active on his Discord and Patreon.
I've gushed about this enough-- no, I definitely did not receive anyhting in return for saying all this-- don't need anything to say it-- just the satisfaction of possibly getting one more person of culture to try this rare delicacy of art. I've been supporting this dev for nearly two years now...
Try it and see...
You forgot one of the options they have: Ignoring. It's easy: you click on their profile, and block it. Poof. No more comments. Some people do that, especially when the posts are multiple AND negative. But... thirty-something posts (and more than a week) later, surely it must be because they're too busy! Surely they would be simply dying to talk to someone that has practically spammed the comments with post after post of complaints and snark directed at something they've poured their heart and soul in for the past few years. Obviously. How could they not see you only want to help them? Maybe come over for afternoon tea, and write it for them?
Sarcasm aside: if you REALLY want to help, and have input, follow the proper channels. Join the Subscribestar page, and the Discord, and try your luck there. Otherwise, the game IS free, and it is more than a little ungrateful to complain about something you got without paying a dime.
First of all: punctuation. I almost had a stroke reading that. Second of all: Your interpretation of your comments is not the Only interpretation, and you've been -
A) less than kind- whether you realize it or not, your comments are nearly ALL negative.
B) sarcastic- I could quote a few, here, but you imply stupidity several times.
C) patronizing- 'Developers should be thanking me for my extremely valuable opinion-- I know so much more than them about this!'**
D) relentless- 35+ posts over just a few days; one would almost think you've nothing else better to do...
E) uninformed- You've personally NO idea where this game is actually going, what future plans are, etc.
F) unrealistic- Expecting others act as you do, and further expecting more realism in a fantasy anime harem AVN.
** (this is not a direct quote, but definitely how you come across-- extremely patronizing, self righteous, self important, etc.)
You have the means to contact the developer, now, and yet you continue here. It seems to put a shadow of untruth to your claimed intent.
You left 36 different post... all worded much like this one; rudely. If you post a review of the game (upper right hand corner of your screen, along with other options like "add to collection", etc.) you can "rate and review', which can be read by the developer, as well as anyone that follows your profile. You're just being rude and cruel at this point... it looks more like you're trying to chase possible interested parties off, more than anything else. Beyond that, visiting the subscribestar page (possibly contributing more than just nasty comments if you can spare $2 a month or more) guarantees you'll find a Discord link, where you stand a good chance of talking to the Arcadean himself. Honestly, you think you know enough about this to comment about their game design, but you can't figure out how to effectively reach authors you're claiming to try to help? I've read the comments-- there was NOTHING polite or constructive-- all snark and sarcasm. Did you suppose the dev never responded because you didn't bash him enough? I've played through this game four times now, I'm a patron, and I'm in regular contact with his community in Discord-- this is NOT how you go about critiquing a game. 36 separate comments-- not including this one. Not one response from the dev... take a hint.
Patreon cut off the dev's page over baseless accusation, no warning, and had to find a way to shift everything to Subscribestar... that caused a lot of setbacks, as he is at barely half of his full support. Despite that, everyone rallied to pull him up out of the hole, and he's been on it ever since. The next update is promised to be big, with several features re-worked, and improvements to the game. Arc is alive and kicking, no worries! Every bit helps, so if you want more involvement you can go to the Subscribestar (basic low level membership is super cheap) and from there join the Discord. There are several games on Itch that have been proclaimed "dead" that are actually alive and kicking on Patreon or Subscibestar, and most of them have Discord channels you can join for more detailed information.
Your "feedback" can be sent in message to the game creator, or you can go to the discord and put your spoilers and criticisms there, instead of on a public forum here... You can even write a review for the game which will ALSO reach the author, as well as anyone that happens to follow your profile on Itch. We get it- you don't approve of (apparently most of) the game. Stop playing, and move on, if that is the case. You sound as though you believe you could make a better game; you're more than welcome to try. In the meantime, maybe try not to bash literally years of someone's hard work -- the condescending tone isn't helping your argument that the criticism is meant as friendly or constructive. Have the kind of day you deserve.
As a patron I admit I was a tad impatient, because I played what was there and enjoyed it thoroughly... Quality work, much as it was with TM. Burnout is real... and that's enough explanation... No Worries. If Expedition 33 took your mind off of the burnout, all the better. I appreciate your honesty! Keep up the good work!
Honestly, if you are getting the proper read on the MC, he would never force himself on any woman, for a number of reasons (completely discounting the fact that he obviously doesn't have to) primarily because he is a good person. The kind of "play" you're referring to isn't done with strangers. Consenting adults that know and trust each other can do such things, but for near-strangers, the line is NOT fine between consent and SA, and that is something this story has expressly avoided. The other thing you have to remember is that the MC is a cop-- however much he's bent the law to help his growing family, he is definitely not going to go that direction unless he is absolutely certain that is what his partner wants. This is as it should be, if we're talking about this MC. Kink and outright SA are two different things. The "objectification" kink was actually discussed with a myth he was introduced to in the storyline (clearly, something planned in a future chapter). We haven't seen much BDSM, but the story is still growing, and several actors are very plainly still waiting for introduction.
The MC is a decent person, so I rather doubt you'll see any sex that isn't explicitly consensual in the story. Cuckoldry has also been ruled out, which means that no matter how vile the villains, we also don't have to worry about our lovely ladies being violated like that, either. As far as I can tell, it's simply not that kind of story... and from what I've read, it never will be. I'm pretty sure everyone's ok with that, too. I hope that clears up a bit of your confusion. I'm not the author, but I have played through the story so far enough times to know that the MC isn't gay, but he IS chivalrous... and that means knowing when NOT to pillage, when not to push, when to listen, and how to be patient.
This story has depth, and is actually amazing. There is a LOT of build up for some of the characters (you specifically mentioned Jun) but if I remember correctly, there was also a warning in the introduction that this story was a "slow-burn", and if you were looking for otherwise, you might be disappointed... that's a perfect example. Again, I hope this clears up some of your confusion on the choices the author of this wonderful story has made. Cheers!
Mega wants you to download their shiny new spyware to even begin the download, and pixeldrain wants to turn it into a 10 hour ordeal after the 6th gig. Oh, and Google Drive is refusing to start the DL for no particular reason other than it seems to be too popular... fingers crossed for mediaflare (although it's not a good sign that they are preemptively trying to get me to DL their "diagnostic tool" to fix my download if they "accidentally"corrupt it) Insane how they want to double-dip your good works...
All that aside... thanks for this! I've been waiting with bated breath...
I DL'd the latest update last night, and am seriously contemplating dropping one of my other patreon subs (one that seems to have stopped progress reports as well as updating) to come show this dev some love. This game has been a lot of fun so far... Sweet, kind characters, hot animations (voiced h scenes) and a fairly innovative storyline (taming)... and the harem grows! Keep it up!
EDIT: I've already joined... impulse decision... but I've got a good feeling, here...
First of all, you need to do this from a PC, and link your phone to it... I've no clue how to do this strictly from your phone, or even if it can be done. Unzip the archive to get three files... the .apk, the .rpa archive, and the "how to install" .txt file. link your phone to a computer, and manually load the APK into your download file. STAY CONNECTED. open your phone's download file and load up/install the apk... allow it storage, and immediately close it out. Back on your computer, back out to the file list and go to "documents". there should be a new file that says Ren'py saves (or similar) open that. You'll see "Lucky Paradox" folder. Open that, and you'll see some loose files and a "game" folder. open that. it should be empty. copy/paste the .rpa archive into that. When the whole thing is done (may take a minute as the .rpa archive is a large file) close it all out, safely un-link your phone, and go back to the Lucky Paradox icon that should be in your other app icons now. you should get the opening pic... give it a sec to load, and you should see the language selection screen (flags)... click on the English (US/UK) flag, and BAM... Disco.
This is all explained in the "how to install" file.
Honestly, for anyone wanting some input on what goes into the game, your best bet for that would be to join the Subscribestar page (linked above). Grab a subscription tier that has voting power to cast your vote for what you'd like to see in future content, as Arc (The Arcadean) does frequent polls on content for input from his supporters! Of course, this is no guarantee you'll see it put in, but it will definitely improve your chances... hope to see you there!

To anyone looking to find out what happened: join the Discord link above, or check out the SubscribeStar... If you were already subbed on Patreon, you'll get a better idea of what's going on, and how to continue your support of this wonderful story! Arc isn't giving up, and neither are we! If you love this game, help us make this happen! there are Vanguard roles open (for those of you who know what that means; if you don't, come find out!)
Kudos to PastryIRL for not just a better "Konosuba" fan/parody game, but for offering real, tangible rewards (I.E. cheat codes, etc) for even the lowest tier supporters, showing appreciation for even small contributions. You have no idea how much more some of us would like to contribute, but simply currently are unable to. We appreciate you! 5 stars for a great game so far!
Don't bother with Patreon unless you plan to spend at least $5 monthly... there is a $2 tier, however all it really gives you is access to the Discord, and you will still be fully two updates behind on the version of the game.
Essentially, this means that if this game takes a year or more to develop, you won't get any real benefits from the patreon unless you spend $60 for that year (assuming the project actually finishes within that time frame, which does not seem to be the norm, and does not track with the schedule so far) and only if the game finishes within that year (this equates to AAA game title cost). Recommend sticking out the free version, for obvious reasons, taking into consideration both the time between updates, and the size of the current product. I can't recommend any dev that only appreciates their higher paying supporters, and not ALL of their supporters.
Quick question: I know you have a subscribestar, but why not a Patreon? I had to make a choice, because I don't want yet another account/password adding to an already staggering number of username/passwords I have to keep track of... is this the main reason for you as well?
With a Patreon, I would feel better with a sub to you... I'd just buy it here, but I don't know how much you actually get from the purchase, or rather, I don't know how big of a slice Itch takes. You deserve something for all of the work that went into this... it's one of the first sandbox AVNs I downloaded, and hooked me into the genre (came for the lewd, stayed for the story).
Long story short (too late) is buying it from Itch the only way to donate to the cause without subscribestar? Is there a way to help beyond this?
Serious question: Where is Alice...? Did I miss something...?
:: EDIT :: At first I thought, surely, she'd be with the other children.. or maybe just a place in the mansion that I keep missing.... but I've searched, and unless I'm missing a trigger somewhere, Chloe's little sister is completely MIA.... and about that: WHY is nobody mentioning this...?
I know she was there when MC woke up, so I know she made it through the initial mess, and that Ard saved her... but after the initial action she just poofs... Is there just no interaction with her as there is with the other children? So odd... I know what I bought this game for, initially, lol... I did NOT expect to become this emotionally invested in the family this MC has created... sheesh.
