I was actually kinda worried that people wouldn't believe it was made in 9 days.

It's not very intuitive, but to interact with stuff, you need to back out of all the sub menus.

^^able to interact with this menu^^

??

Another really great game, I really like the mix of 2D and 3D.

Thanks!

Thanks!

thanks, and I do plan on finishing it up after the jam. If there's anything you'd suggest, I'd like to hear it.

yeah, you might be the first one. I had a bunch of endings like this planned/recorded but I ran out of time

the UI was backed out to this screen?

Be sure to save before you do this if you don't want anything lost. Make sure you are back out of any sub menus and just left click on it. This chest triggers the ending cutscene.

thanks!

This is one of my favorites, great game all around

really fun, I think an endless mode would be the cherry on top for this one. good job!

here's my game. I've found progression slow on the normal mode, so if you don't have a lot of time, there's alway freeplay mode. both have the same ending.

the sfx are really satisfying, and though the gameplay was simple and mostly rng, I liked it.

I enjoyed this one, the only thing I can think of that would improve it would be small button prompts when you're near the weapon or merchant.

A pretty simple platformer, but I enjoyed it, especially the music

I like the mechanic, kinda reminds me of the DK bongos controller for the gamecube

pretty fun, though I died from a projectile after the first boss died

I like the music, my only suggestion would be to allow the player to kill enemies even after the player takes damage.

a fun short little game

I've spent a lot of time making this and really want to get some more eyes on it. Even if you don't want to spend a whole lot of time with the main mode, freeplay has unlimited building so you can try out all the buildables immediately. There's also a neat little ending cutscene at the top that I don't think anyone else has seen yet.

I'm up to 91 so far

this was pretty fun

Glad you had fun with it. also if you didn't figure it out yet, the sledge hammer in the tools can break the buildables.

thanks. I did have toaster messages that explained what to do on my list of things to add, but I ran out of time to add them. I kinda tend to make my games too ambitious and it becomes a detriment, especially being a solo dev.

Be sure to read the games description before hoping in, its got some useful information that I didn't have time to put in the actual game

this is pretty good, it just needs some polish and maybe some sound cues

the idea is to climb up the tower from the outside using platforms and ramps and stuff

So far one of my favorites,  I hope you'll add a downloadable version after the Jam cause I want to be able to play this on my phone

I love that title screen.

As for gameply, I think that it would benefit from having mouse controls to move the camera, but overall its surprisingly more controllable than I initially thought it would be. Good job.

I do plan on finishing the game as there is a bunch of stuff I wanted to add but didn't have the time. With the cot mechanic, I wanted to add a phantom that would spawn at night and chase you down until you sleep, a mechanic similar to that in Spelunky. Also other things like guide messages for playing the first time, more settings and a more intuitive UI system (the thing about not being able to interact unles you are out of all the sub UI). I also wasn't sure how to make a skip button for the poem in a way that first time players wouldn't just skip it immediately upon seeing a skip button. You can actually skip the poem with the P key, I just didn't put that info anywhere until a little later, putting it in the games description.

If you try my game, please be sure to check the description before playing.

yeah, I took on a bit more than I could manage with this project. I was going to have on screen instructions for when players start a new game, but I just ran out of time.

This is my fault for not explaining it, but the night is permanent until you sleep in a cot, thats how I programed the day night progression.

I really appreciate your feedback though, and thanks for playing!

at this part, you can actually trap that one enemy between those two doors when you were there previously
