Very funny intro, that really added to the narrative. A seriously good and original game concept. Well executed. Like others, I'd like a way to skip or speed up the intro when starting a new session. I also think limiting the keys to just letters and ignoring case would give it more of a game feel. I think this is a great game. I'd love to see this do well in a jam like GMTK, because it think this is the type of game design that GMTK targets - that is a game is creatively linked to a theme and to delivery a truly original and very enjoyable game. This is awesome. Great interpretation of the theme. So good to see really original and unique game design and game play. A few bugs to iron out in later development. Like others, I'd like to see this built into a fully developed game without the constraints of a 96 game jam deadline. This is a hidden gem. My favourite so far. Well done.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Like others have said, starting out was really difficult. I was actually about to give up, but then I worked out the basic control strategy (especially sliding) and realized how awesome this game actually is. I was hooked! I'd love to play this using my gaming controller. Amazing that you created this in 48 hours. I hope others take the time to really play this game - it's a winner for me! Awesome game! Great job!
Wow, really cool game, well done. Your tutorial is great - it's a bit wordy, but it helped me to pick up the game play first go, and then stick around to try to beat your high score (which I wasn't able to do). I agree with a lot of the suggestions for improvement - but this is a really impressive game for a 48 hour jam. A fun and challenging game, with good bug-free mechanics and a great soundscape.
