This battle theme has some fun and energy to it, I especially like the percussion. There are some harmonic clashes that I would adjust, for example when the melody plays e-flat notes over a c-major chord. I also feel that the mix is not bringing out those chords as well as it could.

The fast runs and dissonant chords sound like they could combine to create a nice ghastly battle theme,  but right now they are presented as two separate parts. If they overlapped and/or transitioned smoothly from one to the other, they could form a stronger whole.  A bassline or some percussion could also add a sense of movement which is good for a battle theme.

This submission imitates pokémon battle themes quite well, between the moving bass, arpeggios, and chord progressions. This track would greatly benefit from some percussive sounds, especially when only one instrument is playing, to help fill out the sound and preserve the sense of movement.

I could see this being the background to some kind of title sequence. There are a lot of fun harmonies happening here and it gives a good sense of adventure. The only thing I would change is to make the chords a bit less loud.

There's a lot of improvisation and variety in this track which I appreciate. I would consider making the notes less staccato overall, as it is hard to make out the pitches when things move quickly. The chaotic nature of the rhythm and harmony makes it hard for me to imagine this as a town theme, having more patterns and a steady beat would help get it there.

This tune has a nice playful nature to it. Once the arpeggio kicked in I could definitely feel the water park vibes! However, I would tone the arpeggio down because it makes the melody difficult to hear. Right now I could imagine this playing in a lobby or menu screen, but with more parts added to the composition this would become a great song for exploring a full water locale.

The Lake tune sure has inspired quite a few of these submissions! This one has a fun brass lead that plays well with the synth countermelody. I would consider adding more of a presence in the higher frequencies - I know that the synth speeds up into it sometimes, but having more strings, or possibly an octave double of the melody, could give the song a fuller feeling.

This submission is an interesting spectrum ranging from arrhythmic and reflective, to tense and energetic. However, while I can hear some synth similarities with Pokémon games, I am having trouble hearing the imitation from the composition. That could just be because I haven't played Black & White.

Nice tune, it is moving but reflective at the same time. I really like the progression and key changes. The only thing I would potentially change is adding space between some of the notes in the melody, to give it some space to breathe.

A two-for-one special! Good use of rotating the focus between different instruments. The battle theme is interesting because it sounds like it specifically takes place in the same town, probably due to the instrumentation. The drawback is that it makes the battle sound a bit more relaxed than it might have otherwise. Good job!

This makes for a good pokémon battle track, and has that classic energetic intro going into it. I don't know if it's my speakers but the bass in the '96 version sounds really low and hard to make out, I would consider bringing it up an octave. I like how the percussion changes up in both versions and adds variety to the different sections. The '26 version feels a lot more atmospheric, with the shouts and trumpets lending to the battle vibe. Really fun!

It does give a pokémon battle vibe, especially the intro, and has a good sense of energy. There is a lot of dissonance between the melody, bass, and chords, in my opinion it's a bit too disorienting for a battle theme versus a more heinous place like Silph Co. The bass in particular seems like it's transitioning on its own terms instead of lining up with the phrasing in the melody.

This is a really engaging and dynamic song! When it gets quiet after the start, the dynamic contrast is great but maybe it gets a little too quiet; I would consider bringing out the piano more. I could see this playing behind an epic intro cutscene of the game.

A nice calming tune for the lakeside. One thing I would change would be to add more bass to the mix, right now it sounds a bit top heavy. I like how the strings take turns with the harmonica for the melody.

This song fits very well as an early gen battle theme. I might consider making the melody less legato in some places - adding in some spaces may help it breathe a bit more. Good use of syncopation to keep the rhythm going.

This is a fun little tune that I could totally see playing in a menu or options screen! When the melody switches away from the piano and drops down, it is harder to make out, I think because the bass jumps up at the same time and those lower-mid pitches get a bit crowded. Good job!

This is indeed a strong battle theme! The ascending tempo is like the start of climbing a mountain, and I hear the sense of peril. Some of the high pitches toward the end are shrill, and I think additional presence of percussion would enhance this even more.

As someone else who rushed to bang a song out in a few hours, you did quite a good job! There is a nice variety in instrumentation, although in the middle it became tricky for me to focus on a melody among all the moving parts. I could see this being an ending credits theme, it has a nice reflective feeling to it.

This tune has a nice mix between relaxed and energetic - fitting for a town out by the sea. Something about it has me imagine the nighttime specifically. Some of the chords have a strong dissonance for a town theme, although that may not be a bad thing - maybe something nefarious is taking place here!

While this is simpler than some of the other submissions, that doesn't stop it from setting the atmosphere. I can hear the wintry vibe - I could also imagine this being the music of an icy cave you are exploring. The way the progression never fully resolves gives it a sense of wonder, and the tempo change at the end was a nice touch.

Oh yes, I can definitely imagine this playing in the background while I'm getting ready to take down a series of elite trainers. Very powerful and bold sound, and I like the french horns and trumpet taking turns with the melody. The only real change I would consider making is to bring out the lows a bit more in the mix.

The tempo and instrumentation of this song reinforce the intended theme very well. I loved the steel drums intro, although it also makes me miss them in other parts of the song; that is to say, letting different instruments take turns being the focus would be a fun way to add more variety!

Lovely tune, it certainly fits the idea of a town theme and gives a relaxed metro vibe. Not much I would change here, except bringing down some of the piano parts by an octave, as it makes the song feel a little top heavy at times.

Solidly built and challenging shooter game!

Could use some more audio, but otherwise a solid little minigame!

Took a little while to get used to the UI (reading the limitations on trees and chains) but this is a pretty fun and unique entry. I like the various upgrades as well, which help you progress further if you get stuck.

A fun idea, but the rules are difficult to parse quickly. For example does "Even 0" mean 0 even digits, or an even digit followed by a 0?

The artwork and animation is some of the best I've seen in this jam. Nice job!

Having trouble fitting this in my browser window, but it still makes for a good physics challenge!

A unique and fun take of the theme. Good job building this in just a few days!

Saw the comment about entering full screen which definitely helps you see all the action. Haven't done a tower defense game in a while so this was a nice idea!

Whew, this ramps up speed quickly! Nice challenge.

Good straightforward game! I like that you can play around with choosing your own difficulty. I'm having trouble grabbing the presents at higher belt speeds but maybe I'm just trying to click too fast.

Nice work, it's simple enough to jump into but the gimmicks that get introduced make for a nice challenge.

This is fun! Some parts of the presents kept getting stuck on the lip of the bag.
